Ganderbal, Nov 27 (KNO): The residents of Ganderbal here have raised concerns over the delay in relocating the old age home to its newly constructed facility at Pandach, despite the completion of the building. Currently, the old age home continues to operate from a rented building, sparking frustration among residents, who are eager to see the elderly community moved to the new premises. As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the locals have questioned the delay in shifting the old age home, especially since the new facility is ready for use. District Social Welfare Officer, Bashir Ahmed, explained that the delay is due to the ongoing procurement process for necessary furniture and other essential items.
